Math Teaching Resources Library - We propose the creation of a system to publish learning materials created in the Mathematics Department for instructor access, and thus creating on the Depot server a library of frequently-used assignment descriptions, quiz items, and other teaching resources. This teaching resources library, managed by a member of the Math Department who oversees several of the department's service courses, will thus serve as a resource for instructors to link into from their individual CMS sites.

IDEA Web - We propose to develop an easy-to-use application "IDEA Web" that will help manage the work process for individual and group projects. This software will help individual students and project groups plan and organize their work as well as track project work products. Our aim is to create an environment for students not only to perform their work but to prepare materials for (mostly internal) publication. Upon publication, those materials will become available through the IDEA-L interface.

Engineering Design and Communication IDEA Portfolios - Within the larger IDEA project, freshman students in the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science need a new tool for sharing project documents to replace an older software package that is not web-enabled. The 24 sections of the Engineering Design and Communication core course offer freshmen their first immersive learning experience with engineering work groups, and many presentations, working papers, drawings, and other design documents are shared as projects move forward. Depot offers not only means to replace an aging software platform, but allows course administrators to delegate among workgroup leaders tasks related to document posting, revision, and publishing.

Technology in the Music Classroom - Faculty from the School of Music, NUIT Academic Technologies, and the University Library have worked together to create two new labs designed for the use of School of Music faculty and students. The "Technology in the Music Classroom" project will be utilizing Depot to provide students secure online storage to work on projects independent of their location and platform.
