If you are experiencing video problems with your Real Player ("choppy" or "jittery" picture), we recommend taking the following steps:

* First, shut down any running programs that are utilizing network connectivity (email, web browsers, FTP, other streaming video or audio applications, etc).

FOR PC:

  1. At the top of your Real Player viewer window, select the Tools drop-down menu.
  2. In the menu, go to Preferences.
  3. On the left, select Hardware.
  4. On the right, you will see a category called “Video Card Compatibility” – move the slider all the way to the left to select “Most Reliable”.
  5. Depending on the version of Real Player you have, there might also be a check box marked “Optimize Video and Overlays” or something similar.  Uncheck this box.
  6. Hit OK.
  7. Quit Real Player, and then click on the video stream link on the webpage to restart the presentation.

FOR MAC:

  1. Select the Real Player drop-down menu at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. On the left of the Preferences window, select Playback Options.
  4. At the bottom of the screen on the right, uncheck “Use Video Overlay Optimizations”.
  5. Close Real Player, and then click on the video stream link on the webpage to restart the presentation.
